dōTERRA login: where to sign in, how to reset your password, your Member ID, and what to do when the account will not let you in
The official dōTERRA sign-in pages (doterra.com, office.doterra.com, the mobile app), the difference between your e-mail login and your Member ID, how to reset a password, why the account is tied to one market, what to do about an expired membership or a missing verification code, and how to reorder at wholesale.

“dōTERRA login” is one of the most searched phrases about the company, and half the results lead to third-party sites with sign-in forms of their own. Below are only the official addresses, a walk through every section of the account, and answers to the questions people bring us most often after enrolling — from “the e-mail with my number never came” to “it says my membership expired”.
In short: sign in at doterra.com (the Login button) or office.doterra.com, the login is your e-mail or the Member ID from the first e-mail, and the password is the one you created in the enrollment form. Everything else is detail, and it follows.
Where to sign in
There are three official entrances, and they all lead to the same account:
- doterra.com → Login / My Account. Open the site, pick your country and language in the top right corner and click the login button. This is the shop: catalog at wholesale prices, cart and order history — what nearly everyone uses.
- office.doterra.com — the back office. An older interface with account settings, the loyalty program, invoices and, for advocates, business reports. Links in dōTERRA’s e-mails about renewal and your template order point here.
- The dōTERRA mobile app (iOS and Android). Same login and password, the catalog, your orders, the loyalty program and shipment notifications.
If signing in redirects you to login.doterra.com, that is correct: it is the company’s single sign-in page. If any site asks for your login and password on a different domain, close it. There is no “dōTERRA portal” outside doterra.com, and a login form is the easiest thing to fake.
Login: e-mail or Member ID
You can sign in two ways: with the e-mail you gave at enrollment, or with your Member ID. The Member ID is seven or eight digits, it arrives in the first e-mail from dōTERRA right after the first order is paid, and it is the most reliable identifier you have: e-mail and phone can be changed, the number stays for good. Support asks for it, and it is what we need if you write to us about an order.
The password is the one you created in the enrollment form. If no e-mails from dōTERRA arrived at all, check Spam and Promotions: they come from an address on the doterra.com domain and often land there. If those folders are empty too, the e-mail may have been mistyped in the form — more on that below.
Save the Member ID in your phone notes. You will want it in a year when renewal comes round, or when you reinstall the app.
Forgot your password
On the sign-in page click “Forgot password”, enter your e-mail or Member ID and follow the link in the e-mail. The link expires quickly, so open it straight away and set the new password on the same device. It needs at least eight characters with letters and digits; the form tells you if something is off.
If the reset e-mail does not arrive, there are usually three causes:
- It is in Spam or Promotions — check once more.
- The e-mail was mistyped at enrollment. Messages then go to an address that does not exist, and only your market’s dōTERRA support can correct it — contacts are at the bottom of doterra.com once a country is selected. Give them your Member ID, name and date of birth and they will change the address.
- You enrolled with a different e-mail than you think. Try signing in with the Member ID from the first e-mail.
No e-mail and no number to be found — write to us: with your name and the enrollment date we can look up your number on our side and tell you where to turn.
What is inside the account
After signing in you see the catalog at wholesale prices (the 25% is already applied), the cart and a handful of sections. Names differ slightly between the shop and the back office, but the meaning is the same:
| Section | What is there | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Shop / Catalog | Every product at wholesale, stock at your country’s warehouse | Any order |
| Order History | Past orders, status, tracking number, Reorder button | Track a parcel, reorder |
| Loyalty Orders (LRP) | Monthly template order, processing date, points balance | Only if you turned LRP on |
| Invoices | Invoices and receipts for every order | Bookkeeping, returns, warranty |
| My Account / Profile | Name, e-mail, phone, password, addresses, cards | Moving, a new card, a new phone |
| Account type | Wholesale Customer or Wellness Advocate; switching | If you decide to go into the business, or back |
| Membership / Renewal | Expiry date, renewal button | Once a year |
The one to watch is the loyalty template. If you turned it on, it repeats every month automatically until you change or cancel it. Check its contents before the processing date — how LRP works. If you never turned it on, the section is empty, and that is fine.
The account type changes here too. A wholesale customer can become a Wellness Advocate at any moment; an advocate can go back to customer through support. The discount is unaffected either way: Wholesale Customer vs Wellness Advocate.
The account shows the wrong country
Your account is tied to the market you enrolled in: prices, catalog, currency and warehouse are that country’s. The country switcher in the site header changes only the language and the storefront, not the account: you can browse the catalog in German and the order still ships from the US warehouse in dollars.
Two misunderstandings follow from this. The first: “I opened the site in English and the prices are in dollars, but my account is in Europe” — just pick your country in the header and the prices return to euros. The second is more serious: you have moved and want to order from another warehouse. That does not work on its own; it needs a separate membership transfer to the new market. Write to us and we will explain how to do it without losing your discount or history. And if you are choosing a country for a new account, the rule is simple: enroll where you receive parcels — the wholesale account explained.
Common sign-in problems
- “E-mail not found.” Either a typo at enrollment or you are entering a different address. Try the Member ID; if that fails too, the account may have been created on another market — check which country you chose in the form.
- “Membership expired” / retail prices. The account lasts a year. After that you can sign in, but prices show at retail until the renewal is paid — about $25 in local currency. dōTERRA sends a free 15 mL Peppermint with the renewal, worth about the same. The button is in the membership section; there are no debts or penalties for a gap.
- The verification code never arrives. dōTERRA sometimes asks for a two-factor code by e-mail or phone from your profile. Wait two or three minutes, check Spam, request it again. If the phone on file is old, sign in by e-mail and update the number in the settings; if even that is impossible, contact support.
- “Account locked” after several attempts. Wait 15–30 minutes and reset the password instead of guessing further.
- The app rejects the password but the site accepts it. Update the app to the latest version and make sure the country selected in it matches your account.
How to reorder
The first order after enrollment works like any online store: catalog, cart, address, card. After that there are three routes:
- The Reorder button in Order History — the products go into the cart at current wholesale prices; check the address and pay. The simplest option for people who order now and then.
- A normal new order through the catalog — when you want to add or drop something.
- The loyalty template — if you order every month and want 10–30% back in points. It is switched on by hand and needs attention to the processing date; occasional buyers do not need it.
Address and card can be changed in the cart or ahead of time in the profile. The parcel usually leaves your country’s warehouse within one or two working days; the tracking number comes by e-mail and shows in Order History.
Staying safe
A few plain rules that prevent most trouble. Sign in only through doterra.com, office.doterra.com or the app from the official store. Do not send your password to anyone, including an “advocate who will help with the order” — we never need it; the Member ID is enough to help. Do not save the card on a shared computer. If an e-mail says “your account will be deleted, sign in via this link”, do not click it: open the site by hand and see whether anything is actually wrong.
And remember that the account is your door to the official warehouse at wholesale prices. Anything sold around it “cheaper” on marketplaces is a reason to check the bottle: how to spot a fake and where dōTERRA is actually cheaper.
No account yet
Then there is nothing to sign in to: the account is created only after enrollment and payment of the first order. Enrollment takes five minutes on dōTERRA’s official form, gives 25% off and ships straight from your country’s warehouse, with no obligation to sell or to order monthly. Pick your country on the home page and the form opens for your market with our enroller number in place; the step-by-step guide with screenshots is right there. Questions about signing in, passwords or transferring an account — through the help form; we answer within a day.
dōTERRA’s site addresses and interface may change; the current ones are at doterra.com. This site is run by independent dōTERRA Wellness Advocates.
Questions and answers
Where is the official dōTERRA login?
On doterra.com — the Login / My Account button in the top right corner once you have picked your country; the back office lives at office.doterra.com; the same login works in the dōTERRA mobile app. There is no other “dōTERRA portal”.
What is a Member ID and where do I find it?
Seven or eight digits that dōTERRA sends in the first e-mail after your enrollment is paid. You can sign in with it instead of your e-mail, and support asks for it. If the e-mail is lost, check Spam and Promotions or write to us.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page click “Forgot password”, enter your e-mail or Member ID and open the link from the e-mail right away — it expires quickly. If nothing arrives, the e-mail may have been mistyped at enrollment; only your market’s dōTERRA support can correct it.
Why does my account show the wrong country?
The account is tied to the market you enrolled in; the country switcher on the site changes only the storefront and language. If you have moved and want to order from another warehouse, you need a membership transfer — write to us and we will explain the procedure.
It says my membership has expired. What now?
The account lasts a year. After that you can still sign in, but prices are retail until you pay the renewal — about $25 in local currency. dōTERRA sends a free 15 mL Peppermint with every renewal.
It asks for a verification code that never arrives.
The code goes to the e-mail or phone in your profile. Wait a couple of minutes, check Spam, request it again. If the phone number on file is old, sign in by e-mail and update it in the settings, or contact support.
How do I reorder?
Every past order in Order History has a Reorder button — the products go into the cart at current wholesale prices, and you check the address and pay. If you have the Loyalty Rewards Program on, the template order repeats by itself each month until you change it.
